1999 Ken Griffey Jr. Home Run Derby ball! This ball has all the markings of the 1999 all star game home run derby that took place in Fenway park, Boston. This was the first year all home run Derby balls were “mudded” prior to the event. All balls were also marked with player initials on the sweet spot (see photos) so home run ball collectors could identify each ball once they reached the stands. This is a rare find! Ball was also signed at the all star game weekend by Ken Griffey Jr. And others including Mike Mussina, Carlton Fisk, and Ivan “pudge” Rodriguez.
