The Workout Day and Home Run Derby took place the day before the 2010 All-Star Game. Ramirez was a participant in the 2010 Home Run Derby. The blue mesh polyester jersey features the National League logo arching across the chest in two-tone grey/white felt lettering over a blue tackle twill base with grey felt outline. Stitched into the left sleeve of the jersey is an MLB All-Star Game 2010 logo patch. Stitched into the right sleeve of the jersey is a Florida Marlins logo patch representing the MLB team Ramirez played for in 2010. Stitched into the back of the jersey is “Ramirez” in red block tackle twill lettering arching over Ramirez’s uniform number “2″ in red-on-white tackle twill numbering. Stitched into the bottom left outer seam of the jersey is a Majestic “Cool Base” flap tag and a size “48″ flap tag. Stitched into the interior left inseam of the jersey is a laundry tag also listing the jersey size as 48. It has been signed by Ramirez in silver marker on the front of the jersey. The signature has been authenticated by Fanatics Authentic. A Fanatics Authentic hologram #0517719 is affixed to the Majestic manufacturers tag. Also has a Tristar hologram. Ramirez finished second in the 2010 Home Run Derby with a total of 26 home runs in the event. Ramirez lost to David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox; Ortiz finished with 36 total home runs.
