This hat is a beast, it will hit the ball hard and far and last for a long time. This bat is a lot more durable than the new bats that start webbing after 50 hits. This bar has lost its gloss/clear coat. But it does not have any webbing, rattle, and the connection is not clicking. This bat was shaved with a precision lathe, not a hand drill. So it is guaranteed to be shaved evenly. It was shaved by one of Southern California’s finest. It originally weighed 27.2oz and now as the scale shows, weighs 1lb 10.2oz = 26.2oz. Easton Stealth Comp CNT SCN9 34/27.5 Slowpitch Softball HOME RUN DERBY BAT. Taken out of it three years ago and have used it with no problem. It has passed all league compression tests and is a solid bat but a little too hot for a guy in his 50′s that will be soon switching to Senior ball. I re-taped the handle and put a grip and rip on it which goes with the bat.
