Want to see video of your bats exit speed hitting off a tee after the work is completed??? You are purchasing 1 2018 Easton Ghost X BBCOR BB18GX Home run derby ready baseball bat. This bat has been shaved, Rolled, and polymer coated for homerun derbies. Home runs have been cut in half from BESR to BBCOR. BBCOR bats have much less flex in the barrel. Certain manufactures have increased the thickness of their bats and other manufactures have added metal rings. The less a bat flexes the slower the exit speed. My removing the ring and thinning the bat will increase the flex and exit speed providing you with 30-80 Ft of distance depending on the hitter. We test all bats as soon as they come out. We have a radar gun set up so we are able to see first hand which amounts removed will provide the best exit speeds. There is never a guessing game here.
