We work extremely hard to make sure your bat is done right and more importantly you are happy with the outcome! We take photos of the entire process. We start off with pictures of the bats end cap removed and inside the barrel. The bat is placed on a scale to show the starting weight.

Once the bat is shaved it is placed back on the scale to show that the exact amount requested was removed. More photos are taken of inside the barrel to show before and after being shaved. After the end cap is put back on a final shot is taken of the bat on the scale to show the bats final weight is what you requested.

We take all of the guessing games out of it so you know when your bat arrives at your door it is exactly what you asked for! Bats that we shave will receive a polymer coating to help add durability into the bat to reduce the chance of cracking. We have mastered the balance of making the bat hit rockets/bombs but more importantly making it last! When purchasing this listing, certain bats will require a new end cap. Bats that require a new end cap will be an additional $20.00 charge.

Every bat comes with photos of the entire process. Let us turn your bat into a beast. This order is to have one bat shaved. Each bat is carefully prepped to make sure no damage is done (scratches, dings, chips). Once prepped, the end cap is carefully removed, this process can take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes depending on the bat. Even after careful removal, certain bats will require a new endcap. An additional charge will be applied if your bat requires a new end cap. Once the end cap has been removed the bat is placed on our bolton high precision lathe.

Before the end cap is placed back on the bat, the inner walls are cleaned and (for an additional charge of $10) a thin coating of polymer is placed on the inside of the barrel. This causes the bat to be more durable and decreases the chances of composite flaking. Now that the end cap is ready to be put back on. Uses its own special blend of epoxy that will guarantee the end cap does not come off. It is clamped to let dry for 24-36 hours.
